Protein - The building blocks of our Body


Protein is the strength provider and the repair manager of our body tissues. Protein is present in muscles, bones, skin, hair and present in almost every other part of body or tissue.


Protein is necessary for healthy growth of our body. And if correct amount of protein is not given to our body, it takes it from muscles and other organs leading to unhealthy growth of the body.
Protein as compared to "fast release" carbohydrate, helps in balancing blood sugar and controlling the appetite.



Unlike fats and carbohydrates, our body does not store amino acids, therefore i t needs a daily supply of amino acids to make new protein. So if we want a healthy and fit body, intake of protein in right amount is required.
